Hey there it’s Cory! Here is a little bio just to give you glimpse of what makes me…me. I’m an Acadiana native, born and raised. I spent most of my childhood annoying my parents with terrible impressions. Wisely, I think my parents chose to introduce me to music as a distraction, but I bet they had no idea it would turn into a life long passion. I can still remember calling up the local radio DJs in order to get some tips of the trade. When I finished high school I started to study Broadcasting at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I had some minor success in commercial voice-over, and it was fun to hear my voice on the radio and internet advertisements. Before I finished my degree I joined the United States Navy, and served my country overseas for four years. The military was a great way to add some structure into my life, and though my time in the service may have been sometimes difficult I can honestly say I never lost my passion for music. When I returned home I went back to university and would go onto earn a Bachelor degree in Mass Communication specializing in Broadcasting. Now I’m a part of the 99.1 KXKC family bringing the best country music to the ear holes of Acadiana’s listeners.
