LARC’s Acadian Village will hosts it’s annual Christmas lighting fundraiser December 2-23, 2022 (5:30 – 9:00 nightly- weather permitting.)
A critical annual fundraiser for LARC Inc., a local 501©3 non-profit organization with it’s primary focus on assisting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Noel Acadien au Village features half-a-million lights, including the fully lit Chapel, animations, holiday displays, live entertainment, carnival rides, local cuisine, photos with Santa, holiday shopping in the Christmas Store and much more!
Admission is $9.00 for ages 3 and above online,$8 at Acadiana Shop Rite locations & $10.00 at the gate. Children 2 and under DO NOT require a ticket.
All proceeds directly benefit LARC Inc., our residential, vocational, and community supports & services programs.

Christmas In The Point @ Central Park | Church Point Christmas Parade | December 15th
Mayor Ryan ‘Spanky’ Meche invites everyone to experience the first ever “Christmas in The Point @ Central Park.” The Town of Church Point recently put its final touches on the first-ever Central Park.
The new Central Park area, downtown Church Point, ties in the new fishing pond, Le Vieux Presbytere Museum, new playground, Buggy Building, and dog park!
Christmas In The Point @ Central Park features a 30-foot lighted Christmas tree, drive-thru candy cane lane, light-up displays, and more! Our historic Le Vieux Presbytere Museum and our new fishing pond are lit up for the season too! You can drive thru ‘Candy Cane Lane’ to experience our Christmas cheer or take a walk in the park. Christmas In The Point @ Central Park is FREE and open to the public from sundown to midnight every evening!
Our 2nd Annual nighttime Christmas Parade is Thursday, December 15th, at 6 pm! Our parade features floats, lights, music, and fun. Following the parade, we will have Christmas Movies in the park!
Food and drink vendors will be on-site too!
Finally, the Town of Church Point and Church Point Community Development are teaming up to award the best-decorated homes and businesses this year.
