Jimmy Wayne Reveals Plans for the End of His Meet Me Halfway Walk

Jimmy Wayne's 17-hundred mile Meet Me Halfway walk from Nashville to Phoenix wraps up on Sunday, August 1st, and details about the celebration surrounding the journey's end have been announced. People are invited to meet Jimmy at Indian Steele Park in Phoenix on August 1st at 11:00 a.m. ET/8:00 a.m. PT and walk the last half-mile with him. The walk ends at HomeBase Youth Services, which provides assistance to teenagers who have aged out of the foster care system. That night, Jimmy will perform a private concert at the Hard Rock in Phoenix open only to invited area foster kids. The concert will broadcast live on UStream beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT.
