Various Artists, Get Low Soundtrack: Back in 2000, the soundtrack to O Brother, Where Art Thou? caused quite the stir as its roots based mixture of bluegrass, gospel, country and blues became one of the best-selling soundtracks and eventually won a Grammy for Album of the Year. Time will only tell of the music of the film Get Low, which is based during the same time period of the late 1930s as O Brother, will catch on in the same fashion. This soundtrack, which features the scoring of Oscar winner Jan A.P. Kaczmarek and notable dobro player Jerry Douglas, includes the first solo new music from Alison Krauss with "Lay My Burden Down" since her 2007 A Hundred Miles or More collection, as well as four tunes from the acclaimed group The Steeldrivers, along with vintage tunes from The Ink Spots, Gene Austin and more.
