Mire Volunteer Fire Dept Fundraiser

The annual Mire Volunteer Fire dept BBQ fundraiser  will be Sunday  March 14, 2010 at the outer Lilmits in Duson, just south of exit 92 Mire -Duson exit on I10.The plate lunch will consist of pork steak, rice dressing beans and bread and will be $6.00 per plate. Lunces will be served from 10am until 1pm. Come enjoy live music from Cajun Squeeze, High Performance, Drew Doga, and the Back Wood Boyz Jamie Bergeron and Wayne Toups.

21st Annual Juried Art Competition

The Crowley Art Association will be holding their 21st annual Juried Art Competition shoe June 21st thru July 31st. Deadline to submit entry forms and fees is Monday June 21st Entry fee Adults $15 Teens and Children $2. Deadline to submit work  is Monday June 28th. The exhibit will be open to the public Saturday July 3rd from 6 to 8pm
